- CPR is more than enough to pass:

*( chapters 2,3,4,5,6 / 1, 16,19,20,21,22,23,24, 25,30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43,44,45,46,47,48,49,50,56,57) - These chapters are covering pharmacology, therapeutics and pharmaceutics
- Practice recalls daily basis, recalls will not give success alone, it must be concomitantly with our full study plan.
- Intensive study for 4 months { 3 hours study daily basis }
- Lippincott book for some topics like antibiotics
- Pharmgboard has important KAPS questions and recalls and free sample is available
- Mock test which mimics KAPS exam by applying same rules of time management and tricky questions.
It is devided into two papers include same categories of pharmacology, physiology and pharmaceutical chemistry in paper 1.
Pharmaceutics and therapeutics in paper 2. In addition to, case study at the end of each paper.
- You must study the CYP liver enzymes either inhibited or stimulated by different drugs
- Most important drugs for kaps exam are : CBZ, phenytoin, digoxin, warfarin, paracetamol, ibuprofen (NSAIDs),
thyroxine, HTN drugs, GIT drugs, methotrexate, Anti-epileptic drugs,
dopamine, dobutamine, amiodarone, lidocaine, Blood hematocrit value, aspirin,
diuretics, beta blockers, calcium channel blockers CCBs, antibiotics and anticancer drugs.
